新加坡总面积多大？
647.5平方公里，人口530多万（2019年），华人占74%。首都新加坡市毗邻马六甲海峡。市区占地128平方公里，是世界上最小的首都之一。 全市分为5个行政区和3个自然区等组成。
每个区的名字很有趣：以动物命名——牛车水(Chinatown)、芽笼(Geylang)、甘榜格南( Kampong Gnanam)；还有以人名命名的——哈芝巷(Haji Lane)、小印度(Little India)和大巴窑(Tampines)；甚至还有以街道命名的——苏丹街(Sultan Street)和武吉知马(Bukit Timah)。当然还有以国名命名的——新山(Johor Bahru)和新加坡岛(Pulau Ujung Pisang)。 这5个行政区是： 中央区 (The Central Region)、 北部区 (The North Region)、 东北部区 (The East Nusantara Region)、 西南部区 (The West Region) 和 东北部区域 (The Northeast Region)。 而3个自然区则是： 滨海湾地区 (The Marina Bay Area)、 乌敏岛及外海地带 (Otter Islands and Offshore Islets)和 圣淘沙岛和北面岛屿 (Sentosa Island and Northern Islets)。
